About Vanderbilt
Ed Vanderbilt, a long-time resident of Kernersville, NC is an experienced multi-faceted medical professional. Ed has a military medic background, nursing experience working in an Emergency department, and a passion for helping people. He is an AANPCB board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, holding a Master’s degree in Family Nursing Practice, a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing, and an Associates of Applied Science degree in Emergency Medical Science (Paramedic).
Ed believes that his clients are people and that they have both the right to, and deserve to, be treated as a person, not a disease process. This he believes has become an all-too-common problem in today’s medical approach. Ed is dedicated to, and takes great pride in, providing the best possible outcomes for his clients.
When he is not at work, he can most often be found spending time with his wife, of over 30 years, outdoors (they are both avid “outdoors people”).
